08: Cho

Pronunciation Note: “Chairman” with a Pohnpei accent sounds exactly like “German” – and in today’s meeting with the Chairman of the executive committee people kept saying Chairman and I kept needlessly perking up. Also, I told my host dad he can call me Juju if that’s easier than pronouncing Julius. Juju --> Jojo --> Jo, and sometimes Cho. So now I answer to Cho.

Also: I now call my host parents Pahpa and Nohno. Life is good.

In other news, 2-year old Jayheart (I checked the spelling with Pahpa) now waves me goodbye and gave ma a high-five twice already. It has been two days, and already my heart belongs to him.
