At Willy’s place I met Kesdy’s younger cousin Kurt, who
pounded sakau for probably more than 2h straight. He’s super cool, also likes
to swim, and is very curious to verify all the stuff he’s read about Germany on
the internet (I think I’ve made my first local friend, woo!). So he invited me
to have sakau at his family’s house on Sunday after the community consultation.
The house used to belong to the village chief and is right on the shore with an
amazing view of the sunset! (at low tide)
On the horizon to the left is Sokehs peninsula where I live,
and the cool giant Sokehs Rock which I’m dying to hike.
